A. 'Tiny Red' is a smallish,  relatively upright-growing cultivar, with brilliant red flowers, which are not often seen in this genus.  It usually produces multitudes of tiny propagules in the leaf axils, which can be treated much like seeds to produce many new plants.  Conventional propagation from scaly rhizomes produced undergound will result in a flowering size plant more quickly.

This cultivar is also known as A. errecta 'Tiny Red, and is probably a variant of the species.
