Van Houtte, 1845
This is a double-sized print (note the fold), of what is now known as Kohleria amabalis var. bogotensis. Note that the artist has drawn as lines what are in reality dots in the flowers. Another print from Paxton has a better representation of the flowers, although the print on this page is particularly interesting for the fairly accurate coloring of one kind of foliage variation found in this species.
