Aeschynanthus cultivars

Ingrid Lindskog of Umea, Sweden, kindly sent me this picture which nicely illustrates some of the more prominent Aeschynanthus cultivars in European distribution. At the top are A. humilis (on the left) and A. speciosus. The bottom shelf contains hybrids created by Poul Jensen, descended from these two species. At lower left is A. 'Rigel' -- the other two are from the same lineage, and may be siblings of 'Rigel'. All are in distribution in Europe, only 'Rigel', as far as I know, has been available in North America.
