Aeschynanthus fecundus seed pods

It would seem that this species is named for its prodigious quantities of seed pods!   Note the pods that have split, at lower right, releasing the hairy/feathery seed mass.  Another illustration of the seeding habit of Aeschynanthus may be seen in a photo of A. evrardii.
