A. radicans is apparently a synonym for A. lobbianus, and has publication priority.  The "radicans" group is quite broad -- it has a wide distribution with substantial regional variation.  It's possible that a reworking of the genus will result in separation of some populations of this species into separate species.  Another image may be seen here and an antique botanical print here.
