Chirita micromusa

This is a very compact annual, suitable for a terrarium. Thename means "little banana", probably a reference to the shape of the seed pods. Remember to collect the seed!

C. micromusa and C. elphinstonia look quite similar, and I have never seen a clear explanation of what the difference is. It is possible my slide labels are wrong, and this specimen is of the latter.
