This plant was grown from seed obtained from the AGGS seed fund, a truly astounding source for rare and interesting Gesneriads.  It is a hybrid of C. linearifolia, which has narrow leaves forming a dense rosette, and C. sinensis latifolia.  A photo of a whole plant can be seen here, and of another flower cluster here.  A plant shown at the AGGS Convention show in 2004 shows the floriferous potential of the cultivar.
