Exhibited at the AGGS 2002 Convention show. The bright yellow flowers contrasted engagingly with the red veins and bright green of the leaf. Not all selections of this species have the red leaf veins, as can be seen from a photo of another plant. C. micromusa is an annual species. It is propagated through sowing the abundant seeds.
Other Chiritas in the annual group include C. lavandulacea and C. elphinstonia, along with an unnamed species from Phuket.
