Even out of bloom, this is a very attractive plant for a sunny east window. Photos of the species in flower can be seen here and here.
Note the multiple "crowns" -- each of these is actually a rosette growth on a stolon. The stolons have been pinched out, allowing the rosette to grow to a good size. Each of these could be planted to form a new plant.
