Columnea orientandina

Grown by Olive Ma Robinson

This plant was shown at the 2002 AGGS Convention show.  After several days in the show room, the berries had started to deteriorate.  The whole plant can be seen here.  Another plant with berries here, and a close illustration of the flowers here.

The individual flowers are quite hairy and produce lots of pollen, as can be seen here.

Also known as Pentadenia orientandina.
