Gasteranthus acropodus

This is a species within a small genus of humidity loving plants.  Like many other members of the genus (see here), G. acropodus has a spur at the base of the flower, below the attachment of the stem.  A whole plant, seen here, illustrates the fairly tall profile of the species.
