Nematanthus fluminensis

These are photos of the same plant and flowers, one taken with flash, one without.  The flowers of the species are large and showy, usually produced on bare parts of the stem.  The underside of the leaves are a nice red, making an overall favorable impression when flowering and viewed from underneath.

N. flumensis grows horizontally, and in a basket can easily become more than a meter across.
