Paliavana prasinata

Grown at Geneva Botanical Garden

This plant is growing at the top of a large rocky mount in one of the display greenhouses at the Geneva Botanical Garden, and approaches three meters in height.  P. prasinata is a shrubby relative of the Sinningias, and is bat pollinated.  The flowers are large and attractive.
