Sinningia pusilla 'White Sprite'
This attractive variant of the species S. pusilla requires the same culture, and is otherwise much the same except for the clear white color of the corolla. Unfortunately, the white characteristic is not transmitted to its hybrid progeny, as there is a reversion to the lavender color of S. pusilla when crossed with other species. Selfing of the plant does result in pure white flowers. The scale of this tiny plant is best appreciated when shown adjacent to a familiar object.
