S. richii is an interesting plant, not widely grown.  While its flower form and overall appearance would seem to link it to S. eumorpha and perhaps S. conspicua, I have always thought that the flower and bud habit, as well as its hairiness, reminded me of S. hirsutaOther specimens of S. richii can be seen here and here
