Sinningia sellovii

Grown by Michael Riley

Shown at the AGGS Convention, 2002.  Another photo shows the flowers in close-up.  It is interesting that the use of the flash in this photo results in more of a pinkish cast to the flowers, whereas the available light closeup of the flowers shows them as more of a yellowish color -- which is what they looked like in the show room.

There are a number of photos of S. sellovii on the site:

S. sellovii yellowish form, available light and flash
S. sellovii shown at AGGS Convention 2004, flowers and whole plant/tuber
S. sellovii photos at the Smithsonian, flowers and stems
S. sellovii flowers, Toronto show 2004
