Streptocarpus prolixus

This specimen, grown from seed supplied by the AGGS seed fund, appears to have somewhat different flowers than the standard form of the species (seen here and here).  It may be natural variation, or the seed may have been mis-identified.

Note that there are several seedlings growing in a common pot.  S. prolixus is a compact unifoliate plant, which occasionally produces additional leaves after flowering and producing seed.
