Streptocarpus cooperi
Grown at Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh
One of the charms of the RBGE is the landscaping of its greenhouses -- here we have a cluster of S. cooperi, each with its single very large leaf, growing amidst a variety of vegetation, next to a rocky outcrop.
S. cooperi has been successfully grown as a show plant, and can be truly spectacular. A close-up of the flowers of the RBGE specimen can be seen by clicking here.
