Streptocarpus johannis

This is the blue form of S. johannis, which seems to be the dominant form  in the wild.  There is also a white form, which until recently was the more frequently seen in North America.  The plant shown above was grown outside, in Prof. Bellstedt's garden.  Another form with somewhat wider and differently shaped flowers has also been grown by Prof. Bellstedt.
